I must be out of my mind.

You think I'll run, not walk to you
Why would I want to talk to you?
I want you crawling back to me
Down on your knees, yeah
Like an appendectomy
Sans anesthesia

You think you can leave the past behind
You must be out of your mind
If you think you can simply press rewind
You must be out of your mind, son
You must be out of your mind

You want what you turned off turned on
You call it sunset, now it's dawn
You can't go 'round just saying stuff
Because it's pretty
And I no longer drink enough
To think you're witty

You think you can leave the past behind
You must be out of your mind
If you think you can simply press rewind
You must be out of your mind, son
You must be out of your mind

Today my flatmate and I fed chickens, had a visit from a friend, researched Jandek, went out for dinner, and set off fireworks. I also found all the pictures I took last time I went to the art gallery, which I'll put up at some point.
I think that is a pretty good way to spend my only day off work in six days.

I also wanted to start reading It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini and listen to some of my new records but those chickens are just so damn charming.
And now it's definitely time for sleep.

I basically have nothing important to say except that these chickens are damn cute and fun to feed/watch/do tricks with.

It is heaps awesome and better than mine so you should all probably go read it instead.

Good things I have seen lately.

Hilarious neighbour cat.

View from Mt. Eden on Guy Fawkes night.

Weirdest sugar packet ever. I am yet to discover what seagulls have to do with sugar. But finding out is definitely a long-term life goal.

Some art show thing.

More art show.

Radiohead. Yes. This is actually how close we were. Thom looked right at me. But I guess it could have been his lazy eye.

Fuck yeah. The pinnacle of my existence.
